Roskilde – Lejre

THE ASSIGNMENT
Replacement of the longitudinal lineside cables between line huts, division points and stations on the Roskilde – Lejre section with new EMC-immunised multi-pair cables, together with modifications to the track circuits. The project secured modern, operationally reliable cable installations. Execution: nights of 26–31 October 2024 under line possession (20:00–08:00).

VALUE DELIVERED
The project was completed within the planned time window. The new cabling improves operational reliability and meets future requirements for EMC immunisation of the installations.

MY ROLE
Signalling commissioning manager, consultant under Banedanmark’s management and responsibility. Conducted the pre-commissioning briefing, executed the cutover and testing, and commissioned the new lineside cables and track circuits — including fault-finding and final entry into service.
